🌴 Beach Volleyball Excitement in Alanya: Beach Pro Tour Challenge 2025

This June, Alanya became the heart of both summer fun and international sports! From June 11 to 15, 2025, the city hosted the prestigious Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge at the Alanya International Beach Sports Center, bringing together world-class beach volleyball athletes and fans from around the globe.

🌍 A Truly Global Tournament

With 112 teams from 29 countries, the event drew huge crowds and international attention. Organized in cooperation with the Alanya Municipality and the Turkish Volleyball Federation, the tournament was not only a thrilling competition but also a major boost for Alanya’s growing reputation in sports tourism.

👩‍🦱 Women’s Final: Swiss Power at the Net

The women’s final featured a thrilling showdown between Anouk & Zoé Vergé-Dépré of Switzerland and Italy’s rising stars Valentina Gottardi & Reka Orsi Toth. After an intense match, the Swiss duo claimed victory and took home the gold medal with a 2–1 win.

• Gold: Anouk & Zoé (Switzerland)

• Silver: Gottardi & Orsi Toth (Italy)

• Bronze: Vieira & Chamereau (France)

🧔 Men’s Final: Czech Dominance

In the men’s category, Ondřej Perušič & David Schweiner of the Czech Republic demonstrated their class with a straight-set (2–0) victory over the French pair Téo Rotar & Arnaud Gauthier‑Rat, earning the men’s title.

• Silver: Rotar & Gauthier‑Rat (France)

• Bronze: George & Saymon (Brazil)

The entire event was filled with energy—on and off the court. From sunrise matches to sunset celebrations, fans enjoyed music, activities, and nonstop action. I was lucky to be there in person and captured many unforgettable photos and videos throughout the tournament.
